Illness

My wife and I both have caught a horrible cold. We’ve been pretty much locked in our apartment since we returned home from Indiana. My throat is sore, and I cannot stop coughing. My wife is practically frozen, no matter how many blankets and layers she puts on. We both have had minor fevers as well as sinus congestion.

Fun, fun, fun.

Though we have been to the doctor, we’ve been told to just rest and hydrate. It’s a cold. Nothing more. A cold that has lasted for almost a week at this point. Gross.

I Miss You

It has been a little while since I last wrote on this blog. For that, I do apologize. My wife and I have been in Indiana to visit my in-laws. It’s been nice, but I do miss our cat, Jasper, and our little apartment. Still, I wouldn’t mind moving out here at some point. It would be nice to see my wife’s family more often.

Otherwise, life has been a bit boring. November will arrive soon enough, and with it, NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). I will be participating this year. Already, I have a novel planned out in my head. I suppose it would do me well to write it out–at least, the plot and such. There are characters that I need to flesh out more as well. The two main characters are there–I just have to name them. As for supporting characters…well…they’ll show up eventually.
